lee returns

My sweetheart has returned from traveling far,far away! Thank-you Abba Father!
(I think part of me always prepares for the worst when Lee travels.)

He brought me/us coffee beans (we both enjoy good quality) and wooden beads,among perhaps more practical goods.

I am glad to not be filling in for him at work.
I think he is glad to be back as Captain of our nest.

We are both really behind in sleep.
I should be catching up trip laundry.

I woke up and realized the bridal shower I am planning to travel to with a friend(in whose wedding I am in)is  tomorrow and I have no preparations made. As in,AT ALL.
Heh,heh.

If only my headache would totally leave and I could shake this awful tired feeling...

talking about exercise and color..

I just got back from a couple hours by myself, which involved some fast walking, stopping at the thrift shop (we all know it's really called a store)  but I can call it a shop, and running into the store store for Important Stuff like stain remover and rubber bands.
I bought 2 exercise videos  at the thrift shop. I might have a real Collection soon....

Squirrel girl and I have been doing kid yoga in the evenings. She's way more flexible than me.
I am pleased to say my bathroom shelf is finished. It is now the color plum. Today I picked up orange Q-tips to put in a glass jar that will set on my plum shelf. I am gleeful. Might I actually beat these cold, grayer days?
Well,Squirrelgirl is fairly squirrely these days and wants lunch. (I wish I could get rid of the leftover Christmas sweets as fast as possible.)  So, adieu!

hooray!

Hooray,hooray!  The tree is down,down,down and mostly burnt up in the woodstove!
The pineneedles are swept up. What time of year is this ? I ask myself.  Myself is not too sure but myself knows it is the time of year when mothers get AFRAID. Cabin fever lurks.

So yesterday I started painting my tall bathroom shelf PLUM.

re:green and yellow

Dear Julia Charlotte, Green and yellow are becoming popular colors around here! I spied delicate green from tree branches in my backyard this morning! evening shot of some of our daffodils...

daffodils are coming up all over the place!!

On St. Patrick's Day, we dug out SquirrelGirl's spring coat. It was appropriately colored.

On St. Pat's day we all wore something green for an evening outing! We studied the reasons for the day as a homeschool lesson that day( minus the beer and gold-lust!).

Did you know that (according to our limited research) St. Patrick,when bringing Christianity to Ireland, used the shamrock to explain God. As the shamrock has three leaves on each stem, St. Patrick explained that the shamrock was like the Trinity. There may be other explanations about all this but it was an interesting way to study Ireland a bit and surrounding topics.

We did come to the question of whether one ever could come to the end of a rainbow and delved into the research of that. Happy bunny trails!
