To Julia Charlotte,

Will I miss these days? Days of helping with a son's big idea of an impromptu yard sale,of feeding pet fish, of getting up in the middle of the night to take the two year old potty?

Of threading needles for the young sewer, of rounding up library books and snacks and shoes for library trips, of hurrying home so the forgetful 5 year old can go potty?

Days of laundry basket after laundry basket of laundry to do, of prewash spray and kid clothes, of stuffed animals and dressup clothes and little friends.

Will I miss making smoothies and sandwiches and trying to motivate the small live dishwasher?

I suspect I will.....
